This 1100 - 1300-year-old warrior is arguably the finest Petroglyph in Western Colorado. Over 7-feet tall, this beautifully executed figure is one of the Easternmost Petroglyphs created by a member of the Fremont Culture. The lines coming from the head indicate strength & power. The object attached to the feather-lined, bird-headed wooden staff could represent a trophy head, taken in battle.
